Warm bathroom floors in winter

I walked across heated floors in the bathroom each morning while my grandson played with a basket of blocks from the living area. I sipped coffee on the back patio and watched my family play in the park accessible from the backyard. My car stayed in the private garage after we pulled in upon arrival.

Heated floors in the bathroom

I enjoyed the underfloor heating inside the huge bathroom of my cottage during my stay. Lesley kept the kitchen stocked with generous breakfast supplies each day. I looked out over Lake Wanaka and the mountains from the window.

An apartment with full laundry

I cooked meals in the full kitchen of my unit during my four-night stay. I washed clothes in the laundry machine tucked into the hallway closet. My unit overlooked the nearby hills.

I soaked in the hot tub after hiking Roys Peak. I relaxed in the lounge and ate dinner at the dining table while I viewed the snowcapped mountains. The fireplace in the living room kept me warm during the movie session.

Noelene and Bill brought a hot breakfast to my apartment each morning at my requested time, with fresh vegetables from their garden. I sat on my terrace and watched the mountains while I ate. The building is historic and constructed from Kauri timber throughout. I found a bottle of wine in the fridge when I arrived, and I used the washer and dryer inside the apartment during my stay.
